Dia 1 en Buenos Aires.
So yes, yesterday, I had this endless flight going from Paris to Buenos Aires (13h long and it was harsch, I tell you).
When we arrived, the temperature was already of 20°C when we were still 500m high. The city seems huge and very crowded from the air.
We thought we were going to land in some fields but no, we're not in a third-word country and Buenos Aires might be the most european city from Latin America.
Arriving at the airport, a guy called Nestor is waiting for us and direclty, he kissed me on the checks (you know, just like us, French, do but when we know each other for a certain time)
The travel from the airport to the accomodation let us admire the variety of "landscapes/cityscapes" of the city. It's so diverse and different.
Our accomodation is really cool and cosy.
The city itself, or at least the city center (it's so huge, I'm sure I'll never be able to see it entirely) looks like Barcelona: large avenues and so on. It looks very warm.
I saw a lot of old Renault cars today. Some of them don't even still exist in France. Funny.
But, the poverty is really present. I saw a woman frisking the garbage cans. I never saw such a thing before.
The city is also full of music shops, instruments shops & cameras shops. It's really amazing, at every street corner, you've got one!
hummm... what else, I've got so many things to tell but I can't remember everything right now! It's so different from Sweden. I feel totally lost ("in the supermarket"): so many people, so many cars, so many buses, so much noise...
I guess that's all for today. I'm a bit tired by the travel (and I spent the day trying to find a place to exchange money & an adaptator for my electronic stuff).
Besitos amigos. Os echo mucho de menos. <3
